Apple Scrolls with Fondant Pattissier * correct one :)

Apple scrolls

Cooking Instructions

  1. Combine flour, yeast and caster sugar in a bowl.
  2. Make a well.
  3. Combine Milk & butter milk and warm - add melted lurpak butter
  4. Pour into well and combine to rough dough
  5. Take out of bowl & knead for approx 8-10min
  6. Cover and leave in warm spot to double in size (approx 60min)
  7. Take out knead for 2 min then roll out to approx 20 x 40cm rectangle
  8. Mix apple and remaining spices and spread out on dough
  9. Roll up and cut into 8 pieces
  10. Bake in greased tray on 220 for approx10-12 min
  11. Warm fondant in microwave and drizzle or drench scrolls -whatever is your preference :)
  12. Enjoy

Ingredients

  • 60 g Lurpak Butter ( melted )
  • 2 3/4 self raising flour
  • 1 tablespoon dried yeast
  • 2 tablespoons caster sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • One large red apple finely diced
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • Approx 1/2 cup fondant pattissier
